We have an immediate need for a Director of Activities.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual calendar of activities for the residents that will allow provide opportunities for residents to socialize and enjoy recreational activities each day.
  • Plan in-house events that promote family, joy and socialization.
  • Develop a monthly newsletter that is distributed to the residents and mail recipients.

 

Education/Experience/ Licensure/Certification

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university.
  • Certification as a Recreational Therapist is preferred.
  • 2 years of experience with the senior population, preferably in a long-term care and/or healthcare setting.
  • Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
