We have an immediate need for a Weekend Activities Assistant

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Director of Activities in the development of the annual activities calendar, which includes an annual theme that is developed into a monthly calendar.

  • Successfully implements activity program according to the calendar and as directed by supervisor and/or Administrator.

  • Utilizes the community passenger vehicle for transporting residents to and from community appointments, events and scheduled activities.

 

Education/Experience/ Licensure/Certification

  • 2 years of experience with the senior population, preferably in a long-term care and/or healthcare setting.
  • Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record
  • A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
